Legendary Former Heavyweight World Champion - Joe Frazier
Joe Frazier passed away of liver cancer on 7th November 2011 at age of 67.
You know, just 1 night before he passed away, I was spending HOURS on YouTube watching videos of Joe Frazier's boxing matches! And after watched dozens of Joe Frazier's matches, I was even planning to do a blog post about him! Little will I expect him to pass away the very next day!
I tweeted about Joe Frazier one day before he passed away!
Joe Frazier was Muhammad Ali's greatest rival and toughest opponent ever. Frazier was the first man to won Ali and the only man to gave Ali a hell of a fight; where Ali commented it as, 'the closest thing to death'.
Though Frazier lost the last ever match with Ali (by not going up to fight the very last round), I personally think that Joe Frazier was the one who won the match - Frazier never wanted to give up the match but he was forced by his trainer to give it up, whereby on the other side, Ali was begging his trainer to end the match but his trainer was begging him to continue...
