Battle for Haditha (2007)

Based on a true event during the Iraq War.
In November 2005, US Marines fell into an ambush by Iraqi insurgents and one officer got killed. The reprisals by the the Americans were frightening, resulting in the massacre of 24 people, many of whom women and children. "Battle for Haditha" is the faithful account of this tragic event which scandalized the world.
Rescue Dawn (2006)

Based on a true story of Dieter Dengler, an US Fighter pilot epic struggle of survival after being shot down on a mission over Laos during the Vietnam War.
This movie starred Christian Bale as Dieter Dengler. He gave a wonderful performance in this movie! In fact, I think the entire cast performed very well.

One thing I felt slightly annoyed is that they were whispering in most parts of the movie and I couldn't quite make out what they were saying. Anyway they were whispering because they were the POW's.
